Healing spirits

HEALING THOSE IN NEED THROUGH KRIYA YOGA MEDITATION/PRAYER PRACTICE

Healing spirits

In his 30’s Randy's life was very chaotic prompting him to search for a spiritual path. In the Spring of 1996 he discovered Kriya Yoga meditation/prayer which is a non-denominational meditation practice that anyone of any religion can practice.

At 63 years old and very healthy, Randy has found what his 90 year old teacher would say is true – “Kriya Yoga will simultaneously cultivate the body, mind, and spirit”.  “Kri” means action and “Ya” means soul and “Yoga” means the union of both – so Kriya helps align your physical, mental, and spiritual self.

It is proven by western science that Kriya Yoga meditation (or most any form of meditation) can activate the part of the brain where good feelings and happiness reside. Meditation lowers the heart rate and reduces stress, which we now know is a direct precursor to many diseases (both mental and physical).

At a practical level, stretching is simply good for the body.  Randy has found that through his Kriya practice he has been enjoying a happier and healthier body, mind, and spirit.  Because of these benefits, he wants to share his passion of these profound techniques with anyone who has a sincere interest.

Kriya Yoga can be integrated into anyone’s life easily – it is not an austere difficult practice.   A formal meditation is 45 minutes to one hour; but the beauty of Kriya is that there are different technique’s that one can do in less time during the day.  One can integrate the practice into ones live easily.  “Baba” Randy’s teacher would say “even 10 to 20 minutes of sincere meditation and yoga daily will provide extreme benefits”.
